Presented here is an adorable original 1960 hat. This was a child's hat, perfect for large vintage dolls. Classic pill box style with a puffed net at the back and trimmed with lovely matching flocked flowers. The material looks like a burn out silk on net, it is over tulle on the top and has a matching solid green underneath around the sides. At the back is a 4 5/8" tailored bow in a Shantung type fabric . The sides are 2" high, it has an inner stiffening that holds the shape. The crown measures 5 1/4" front to back, 5" across. Shown here on a 24" American Character doll, the listing is for the hat only. Excellent vintage condition, looks never used. So special, very rare original 1960 child's pill box hat!
