No date of publication seen, but others have indicated a date of 1953, with this as the First Edition.  Many on Abebooks have simply not identified a date in their listing.  I will presume mine is the 1953 First Edition.  Generally in good to very good condition.  Solidly bound, clean glossy pages with no markings, 75 plates, 144 drawings with 85 in color.  45 pages of text followed by the plates.  Front board has a crease that is hard to see in the photo - its to the left of the title on the front board and extends above it.  Front end paper is cracked at the spine, back end paper is not cracked.  Solidly bound.  Sections in the 45 pages before the plates include:  Preface; Introduction; Turkish Ceramics, XII-XIXth Centuries, Selcuk Period tiled buildings; The Ottoman Age, XIV - XIXth Century; Turkish Pottery; Bibliography B67
