With an f2.0 maximum aperture, it is particularly effective in low-light capture and can control shallow depth of field for precise subject focus with pleasing out-of-focus backgrounds. It offers a minimum focus distance of 7.9", its non-rotating front filter thread accepts 67mm size filters and comes complete with a removable and reversible for transport petal shaped hood, caps and a soft lens pouch.
Ergonomically designed for a balanced and comfortable fit on MFT cameras, it features the NCS state of the art Nano Coating System to control flare, increase contrast and improve color rendition. Its impressive internal focusing optical design includes three Extra-low Dispersion elements, one Aspherical, and one Hybrid Aspherical element for optimum performance.
Available in black or silver, the Rokinon 12mm F2.0 produces frame filling ultra-wide images of exceptional sharpness and color rendition that combines High Speed and High performance with affordability.
