K2 LAMP DOCTOR is a polish compound for use by hand or with polishing tool. Completely removes scratches, haze, cloudiness, discoloration and yellowing from headlights, taillights, fog lights, boat lights and various camper or plane windows.
Use of K2 Lamp Doctor paste makes the headlights look like new with brilliant clarity and long-lasting protection.
DIRECTIONS:
HAND POLISH
1. Clean and degrease the surface to be treated (using K2 KLINET or windshield cleaner) before use.
2. Apply the paste with a sponge or microfibre and polish the lens until the cloudy haze is gone and the surface becomes smooth.
3. Use a clean microfibre to buff the lens dry.
MACHINE POLISH
1.Protect all the painted surfaces around the headlight lens with painter's tape to prevent damage.
2.Large defects on heavy worn lamps can be roughen by sandpaper of 2.000-3.000 grade.
3.Clean and degrease the surface to be treated (using K2 KLINET or windshield cleaner) before use.
4.Apply a small amount of polish to the foam pad, before turning on the drill.
5.Spread the paste with a 600 RPM drill, then increase up to app. 1.200 RPM drill and polish the lens until the cloudy haze is gone.
6.Use a clean microfibre to buff the lens dry.
We recommend use of K2 QUANTUM Synthetic wax (which acts as a sealer) to protect the
lenses from future yellowing and haze.
