Carl Zeiss Jens T 5.8cm F2 Biotar Lens 58mm Stock No u7129. Vintage, hard to find Zeiss lens in black finish and serial numbered 3335612. The lens has the M42 screw mount, has a pre-set aperture from F2-F22, it has quite a smooth focus and aperture mechanism but does have some of the metal showing through the paintwork giving it a slightly red appearance. Optically it has been cleaned but there are bubbles in the glass and some minor dust, as well as light scratches/cleaning marks to the front element...that said, these faults are very minor and do not seem to affect the optical performance of this superb lens, it has 17 aperture blades that will produce super-sharp results. Beautiful, sought-after and rare item.
