The Commonwealth Bowl by Coalport
This bowl is absolutely gorgeous and is a substantial piece of bone china, weighing in at over 1.1kg! It has a diameter of 10" and stands approx 4.5" tall. This item is limited edition number 170 of 500 and comes complete with a signed and dated CoA. Inside the edge of the bowl are the names of all the different countries that make up the Commonwealth... The gold gilt work also finishes this item off nicely, these don't come on the market every day!
Coalport produced this item to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth II, 'Head of the Commonwealth'. This item was produced in association with The Royal Commonwealth Society.
The condition of this piece is excellent, there is some slight scoring and scratches inside the bowl at the very bottom, I assume that this has been used for storing something at some point? The rest of the bowl is absolutely A1 perfect, on the whole I would have to score this piece as 8.5 to 9 out of 10!
