Some chainsaws were fitted with optional configuration which changed the pitch of the drive sprocket, chain and bar fitment. Often people reconfigure saws, or worse have the wrong item installed. NOTE: MS250,025 Family - most came with .325 chain and this combo will not work. The bar has the correct mount but the saws were setup to run .325 chain. See our other listings, we offer a kit to convert the these saws to the smaller 3/8LP if you desire to do so. We also stock other bars and chains to fit this family of saws.
