These give great side of road vision yet send the light well in front.
HID READY - Although still perfect with normal globes these were specifically designed to take HID globes. After many years of selling HID lights we worked out that what you need is the least cause for light scatter. There are no light dispersion ripples that casts light sideways. The reflector does all the work. Making it perfect for HID.
There is not another lens out there more suited to HID globes than these lenses. We use these lenses in a few of our lights.
Although HID ready - most people use these with their normal H4 halogen style globes. Some people kit them up with HID right from the start (refer to links below for our premium HID kit) or they do it in stages and get the lights in the car now and do the HID later.
The size is 7" round and they suit all 7" applications.. The only other sizes out there are 5.75" and 4.5" so if you go and have a measure it will be pretty obvious to you which size you need.
They are a direct replacement of your normal 7" round sealed or semi sealed head lights.
Fitting is dead easy. Remove the outer metal retainer (3 screws) and the light falls forward into your hands. Just unplug the old and plug in the new. Re-position the light and screw in the retainer and you are done. There is no need to remove the grill or headlight surrounds.
The 2 lights are the same. You get 2 lights that both suit left side of road or what we call RHD Right Hand Drive. Some people have seen the RHD label and expected to get a left and a right light - LHD lights shine light upwards to the right and so are illegal in Aus (which is why the old import cars need our RHD lights to be registered) so to clarify you dont get 1 of each - to keep it legal you get 2 x RHD lights.
These lights have provision for park light globes and they are the wedge style so you have a heap of modern choices like colored LED park lights
These are steel and glass - there is no melting or fading and just like beer tastes better out of glass than plastic - we should also use glass for lights and not plastic.
The reflector is made of glass finish sheet metal and is shaped to project light as far forward as possible. The Prismatic reflector has shaped curves that do the spreading out of the light in a shape such that to the right it points down a bit so as not to blind oncoming traffic yet to the left it is higher. This makes it compliant for all Australian and other RH Drive vehicles. The lens is flat glass. Also the inside no longer has the shield. HID globes and quality Halogen globes already have their own shields or painted ends and so a light shield only creates shadows and dark spots.
So basically the reflector controls the light pattern and smooth glass means light is not scattered - very important if you choose to run HID globes in these.
These are semi sealed lights, which means they take globes. The alternative is sealed beam which has a globe built into it - the problem with the sealed beam lights is you are restricted to just 55W Lo / 65W Hi. The great thing about semi sealed is your choice of bright globes up to 90W Lo / 130W Hi which is twice as bright as standard.

These lights have a 12 month warranty against any fault that arises and also a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. If they dont suit you, dont fit or not what you expected just send them back for an exchange or refund. Even if something breaks in the post just let me know and I shall send another. These lights are semi sealed. That means they take globes and they have a rubber boot that prevents dust and water from getting into the light.
These take the H4 3 pin Hi and Lo beam globes which is universally standard for all 7" lights. Globes are not included with the lights as we offer a variety of globe options.
These lights have a provision for a park light. Some people need a park light in their 7" light while others dont. If you dont need a park light just ignore the fact it has a mount for a park light globe.
These are 7" round headlights and they fit all 7" round applications. We have sold thousands and we are yet to have a car with 7" lights they dont fit. They are to suit Australian left side of road and are legal in all states. They are E stamped and we have a lot of custmers fit these to old American cars coming into Australia and they get approved with our lights fitted.
If you are unsure what size you need the rule of thumb is that single headlights are always 7" whereas twin headlihgts (4 all up) will be 5 3/4". And running a tape measure across the face will make it quite obvious.
The face (Lens) is glass and the backing (Reflector) is steel. There is no plastic in these lights and they can run super hot globes and there will be no fading or discoloration.
They have a 12 month replacement warranty against manufacture faults, discoloration or fading, rust or corrosion or anything that makes them not look good or function properly - Cant get better than that.
We also supply these with a 30 day satisfaction guarantee so if you receive the lights and they dont fit or function to your expectations just arrange to send them back for either a different type of light or a refund - that is your 30 day choice.
