Vintage travel box for detachable collars, made in the 1920s or thereabouts.


It measures 7.5" x 7.5" x 2.5" (19 x 19 x 6 cm) approx when closed.
Weight 110g.

This collar box fastens at the back with a thin strap and buckle, and at the front with a VERY old-fashioned press stud.
This stud is marked MADE IN ENGLAND, but there is no maker's name on it.

This is a lightweight box, with stiff sides, and soft top and base, and was presumably designed for travelling.

Cloth lining, and the outside appears to be some sort of leather or bonded leather.

Condition

Vintage collar box, probably well over half a century old.
Good condition, but with some scuffs acquired over the course of the last half-century or so.
The strap at the back fastens with a buckle; both are in very good condition.
