You will receive 15 CUTS, about 4 to 6 inches, from the plants in my garden.  They will be wrapped with some water before sending to you. The best way to have them grow is just take them out from the package and place them in a cup or plate with water cover the stems for about one week as the last few pictures showing. You need to change water every day until roots coming out, then, transfer into pot or garden as you plant other vegetables. Or plant in pot or garden when you receive them, watering, they are growing! Please avoid direct sun before them start to grow.

At the beginning, the color of leaves may turn into a little yellow as the last picture.  But the color will become green when they start growing.

Longevity spinach (Gynura procumbens) is a leafy vegetable which origins from South Asia and has been introduced into the U.S. in recent years. As it has many health benefits, more and more people in the US grow it.

In warm climates the plant is perennial, and will provide harvests for many years. In southern California, it harvests from spring to winter. The growth habit is spreading, with the floppy stems trailing on the ground or shelf.

Longevity spinach grows well in full sun or part shade. Growth slows or stops in cold weather. Hard freeze will kill the top growth, but in spring the plant quickly regenerates from the root system. 

The leaves and young stems can be eaten raw or cooked. It is an excellent salad green. The leaves can also be used on sandwiches in place of lettuce. Stems can be chopped in soups, stews, or vegetable medleys in the same way you would use celery.

In South Asian, it has been used, in folk medicine for generations, for treatment of  inflammation, rheumatism and viral infections. Scientific studies have shown strong anti-inflammatory action and an ability to reduce type 2 diabetes.
