The metal base-plates are designed to be nailed on to vintage or traditional-style leather-soled shoes; the plastic cleats bolt on and provide some adjustment. Use the drop-down menu to make your selection: New Old Stock, 2 cleats & 4 bolts are in original bag, never used or installed. Base-plates and bolts & nuts are bulk-packed. Used base-plates could be used or more likely they are take-offs
