Description
This rare Kato Alco RS-1 has a split-frame metal chassis, blackened wheels, all-wheel drive (no traction tires), and all-wheel pick-up. The motor is an closed-sided 5-poler. All gearing is plastic. Directional lighting is provided by PC boards mounted on either end of the chassis. The couplers are micro-trains. Wheels are low-profile and have no problems on Code-55 track. Performance of this model is most excellent. It run's smoothly and quietly at all throttle levels. Pickup is flawless, slow-speed creep is superb, and pulling power is impressive.

Returns: Permitted only if I have made an error in the description. Items must be in the original sealed condition to be returnable. If there is an error on my part, I will gladly refund your full purchase price, plus, I will pay for return shipping. 

Shipping: All items are shipped within one day of receiving payment - Monday through Friday excluding Holidays. Tracking numbers are always provided. 

International:  I ship using the eBay Global shipping program.  All others please ask for shipping cost before bidding. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
