How much Fidget Putty is
inside each container?
There are 2 ounces of Fidget
Putty inside each regular container and 4 ounces inside each Large
container. That is Net Weight of the
Putty alone.
Is Fidget Putty non-toxic?
Yes. Fidget Putty is made
and manufactured entirely in the USA from top-shelf materials sourced from
industry-leading vendors. All product purity and regulatory compliance are
taken very seriously. The product is certified compliant with ASTM F963 and EU
standards EN 71 Parts 1, 2 & 3 which cover tests for toy safety. Fidget
Putty is CPSIA-compliant with all regulations.
Fidget Putty contains no
latex, gluten, wheat compounds, or phthalates. It is safe for use by people
with sensitivity to wheat or latex.
Is Fidget Putty safe for use by children?
Yes! Fidget Putty is
loved by everyone and is safe for children ages three and up. Like all creative
toys, Fidget Putty can get messy if left alone with young children. Fidget
Putty should not be used by children under three years of age for this reason
and should always be used by older children with supervision.
There is Fidget Putty
stuck in my hair/on my skin/on the fabric of my shirt/pants/sofa/rug/sheets.
How can I remove it?
We recommend using
rubbing alcohol (the greatest percent isopropyl alcohol you can find - 99% is
ideal) from the drugstore.
It is the easiest way to
remove Fidget Putty from skin, hair, and fabrics. Some people will purchase antiseptic
ethyl rubbing alcohol. This is NOT effective.
For hair or skin, pour a
liberal amount of rubbing alcohol over the putty. Use the flat part of a credit
card or the back of a butter knife to help remove the putty from skin; use a
comb to help remove the putty from hair. For fabric, spot test first.
If safe, liberally pour the rubbing alcohol onto the putty and use the flat
part of a credit card or back of a butter knife to get the bigger pieces off.
Then apply more alcohol and rub the area with a washcloth until nothing remains.
This may take several applications but the alcohol will dissolve the putty and
help release it from the fabric.
Can Fidget Putty stain
fabric?
Unfortunately, the answer
is yes. Fidget Putty is best left in its tin when it is not being used. But if
it does stay on fabric for an extended period of time, once the putty itself is
removed (see above), certain pigments in different colors of Fidget Putty can
stain certain fabrics. As with any product, we suggest watching children when
they are playing with it to make sure it is not left on fabric for a long
period of time.
Does Fidget Putty dry out?
No! Fidget Putty is
silicone-based, not clay- or earth-based like other modeling compounds. Fidget Putty
will never dry out or crumble. The only reason to keep it in a closed container
is to offer protection from dirt, dust, and hair that may otherwise accumulate.
Will Fidget Putty leave a
residue on my hands? Does it smell bad?
Fidget Putty does not
leave a sticky residue on your hands and is neutral as far as scent is concerned.
