Originally cast as a makeup tester for the 1983 David Bowie film 'The Hunger'. It is a unique design called "Kabuki", the sculptor had an edition of 300 White masks called "Cut", which were released for sale at the David Bowie IS exhibition at the V&A in 2013. This "Kabuki" edition is hand painted in fantastic detail by the sculptor Nicholas Boxall, and there are only 100 created.The St Pauls Gallery in London - currently has the plain White "Cut" mask (Edition Of 300) up for sale at £1300.00 - so this painted edition of only 100 by the same sculptor represents a major bargain and a fantastic investment opportunity!
