The Beetle Convertible’s career began in Osnabrück when the coachbuilder Karmann started building the four-seater in 1949. When the last Beetle Convertible rolled off the production line on 10th January 1980, a community of fans bade farewell to a car that was very, very special. With the end of the original Beetle Convertible, production of one of the major players in the German and international automobile world became history. The wonderful image depicted in the original (and very rare) 1972 poster has been faithfully recreated by us.
