Description
This is a beautiful antique Balouch prayer carpet from West Afghanistan which dates from the early 20th century. It has a narrow deep indigo field beneath multiple mihrabs enclosed by leaf and calyx borders and it features some very attractive peachy orange shades. The carpet is in excellent condition and measures 132 cms by 89 cms.
