Vintage 1983 SR Custom 5355 road bike alloy quill stem, made in Japan. The front of the stem is engraved with Custom. The stem is stamped 83 D and SR 60 5355 Japan.
60mm reach. 25.4mm clamp. 22.2mm diameter.
Cosmetically clean, some marks, scratches and light scuffs, most of the heavier tarnishing is lower down on the shaft of the stem. Tarnishing to metal over most of the stem. Minor surface corrosion to fixing bolt and wedge. Overall good for age. Please see all photos.
