Stands up to the elements. All patches are sealed with a plastic / glue backing in which it can be sewn-on or Ironed-on. All Hook and Loop Patches, the Loop part must be sewn-on only. Keep in mind. If you ride in the rain a lot it should still be sewn on. You can spend a lot on patches and you don't want them to blow off down the road.
