This is outdoor speaker wire, meant for use outdoors, and is coated to resist corrosion and not corrode outdoors. The copper used in this cable is OFC, but this wire is not 100% copper as 100% copper is not outdoor cable and will corrode and turn green almost instantly when exposed to the elements. If you are looking for 100% copper this is outdoor cable and is not that.
