Most products in these categories use woven material, which is made using a central mesh that cuts initial cost and
produces a heavier fabric.   The woven mesh center is then covered by a thin layer of PE.     The woven center is what
manufacturer’s reference to make their claims of strength based on the heavier weight.
There are many different quality tarps sold in the UK, European and US markets, but it’s safe to say that none of them
have a “long life,” and several weak points are exposed over a short timeframe.

YUZET NON WOVEN Film/Material is produced with patented material AND is a multi-layered, cross laminated, UV stabilized, plastic film.    The result is a strong, light weight, and flexible material.

YUZET 120gsm Non Woven Film

All eyelets are ultrasonically welded and super strong. There’s no need to cut the film for metal rings/grommets.  (Films higher than 150 GSM do have aluminum rings to allow for the use of heavy rope.)

Standard Woven Tarpaulin

Metal eyelets for tarps/covers are made by piercing the fabric with metal blades and then adding a metal or aluminum ring. These cuts are weak points and will tear under minimal stress.    Small tears continue to “run” resulting in a non-functioning product.

YUZET 120gsm Non Woven Film

The folded edges are fusion heat welded by machine resulting in
stronger joints/seams and a very strong 100% waterproof fabric.

YUZET Film resists all weather conditions remaining flexible in very
cold or very hot temperatures and is not subject to the cracking
issue like most existing tarps and covers.

Standard Woven Tarpaulin

The majority of existing tarps are folded around the edges and then
sewn with thread or cord which creates holes in the fabric and
eventually results in tears or leaks. These fabrics are never
waterproof and leaks grow with age.  
The other common manufacturing method is to use glue to seal the
edges.    The glue breaks down in a reasonably short time,
particularly in cold or hot climates, and is not a good, long-term,
solution.
Particularly in cold temperatures, woven material becomes hard,
doesn’t fold well, and cracking is a common occurrence.

YUZET 120gsm Non Woven Film

UV protection and stabilizer is an integral part of the raw
compound used to make the film and lasts for the life of the
product.

Standard Woven Tarpaulin

UV protection is painted or sprayed on most products of this type
and is not a bonded part of the material.   UV applied as paint or
spray diminishes in a relatively short timeframe resulting in fabric
cracks, brittleness, and a short lifespan.
