These popular relay modules are very versatile and easy to wire, and enable control of higher-voltage (including mains voltage appliances) by microcontrollers and single-board computers.

Many popular SBCs and microcontroller development boards run at 3.3V rather than the 5V these relays are designed for. The relays will often (but not always) operate given this 3.3V rather than the intended 5V, but this is unreliable and potentially dangerous to the controller. This kit includes 2 dual-channel logic level converters to address this problem. We also include a breadboard to make prototyping simple. If using with a Raspberry Pi, we suggest a Raspberry Pi GPIO adapter as well for connecting the I/O to the breadboard.
