This is a vintage 14K yellow gold (marked) fur clip pin in a ridged, twisted, curved, three-dimensional, sculptural ruffle design.  The fur clip is 1 3/4 inches by 1 3/8 inches by 3/8 inch, and weighs 12.6 grams.  It has a double prong pin: one side has a locking clasp, and the other side has two circles to position the second clip (this is not a defect: it was designed this way).  It has the maker's mark of two conjoined Ps (one inverted), which is the mark for Preformed Parts, associated with the George Schuler Co. of Pleasantville, NY (see close-up in 9th photo).  This unusual, elegant fur clip pin is in excellent condition.
