Attract a range of colourful birds into your garden with this pack of Niger seed. Niger seed, sometimes written as Nyjer, is a small black seed that originates from Africa. It is favoured mainly by finches as the structure of their beak is ideally suited for this tiny seed. Rich in oil content and highly nutritious, Niger seed is a staple in any finch’s diet.
The seed composes of mostly fat and protein, and is an exceptional energy source for birds, especially in winter months. Many birds enjoy Niger seed, such as song sparrows, buntings and quail, however if readily available goldfinches, redpolls and siskins will eat nothing but Niger seed.
Available in a variety of sizes, this exotic bird seed is sure to invite colour to your garden.
Please note: the 25.5kg sacks of Niger Seeds are delivered as 2 x 12.75kg, these may be delivered separately.
