Transportation:
Please note that the pure metal form of Bismuth is brittle and will flake reasonably easily. The quantity will be dispatched inside sealed packaging to prevent loss. It will be sent inside hard plastic container as a few pieces, however transportation may result in some flaking. Please check the weight upon arrival with an accurate scales - You will receive at least the weight advertised. Bismuth is heavy and weighs 9.78 grams per cubic centimeter - similar to lead.
Utilization:
Bismuth forms incredibly beautiful crystals upon slow cooling, exhibiting the logarithmic spiraling pattern known as the golden ratio, observed throughout Nature. It melts at 272.5°C (520°F).
Essentially a room temperature super conductor, Bismuth can be used to levitate small magnets by repelling the dielectric inertia disc of a symmetrical magnet. The incredible inter-atomic high dielectric capacity of Bismuth gives Bismuth the appearance of being diamagnetic, which strictly speaking, it is not.
Bismuth is safer lead substitute. With a similar density to that of lead but much less toxic, it is used to make shot for shotgun shells and fishing lures.
