This is the drive gear for the newer style magneto models that use the FLAT SIDED GEAR.

Please Note The Pictures Representing Correct Timing:  The fiber gear has the letters "C"  and "A" embossed into the gear.  The "C" represents clockwise rotation and "A" anti clockwise rotation.  The mark on the rotor gear must mesh BETWEEN the "C" mark of the fiber distributor gear (see image)

 Note:  You MUST make sure that you identify that your magneto is a Fairbanks Morse with one of the magneto numbers as noted above as many engines also came equipped with other manufactures and models of magnetos.
