Item Description: Antique silver fusee pocket watch in very nice condition.
Case: The case is in excellent condition with normal wear, but no evidence of misuse - see photos. The case measures 55mm across and 78.8mm in total length. The inside of the case has silver hallmarks and is also signed, "P H.C. 3205 WEARE". It has not been personalized.
Crystal: The crystal is missing. The hands are also missing.
Dial: The original porcelain dial is in excellent condition with no visible hairlines, chips or other damage. It is unusual to find these watches with mint condition dials.
Movement: The fusee movement is signed, "W.S. WEARE BIRKENHEAD 3205". The balance swings freely. The entire movement is bright. The hairspring and the staff seem good. I am not sure why it does not run. It may be that the mainspring is too weak or that the watch needs cleaning and oiling. The 4th wheel pinion is intact.
Running Condition: This watch is fully wound and does not remain running. The balance swings freely and it does tick. It is sold "as is" for parts or repair.
