A very beautiful old certified French violin made by (not workshop/atelier) Jean Baptiste Collin-Mezin fils - made ca 1940

This high quality instrument is wearing its original label, and comes with a certificate of authenticity .

A beautiful reddish-brown varnish  and ;a superbe 2-piece back, flamed ribs, a very nice scroll..

The sound is strong, mature, well projected, with a lot of personality.
 
This Collin-Mezin violin has a singing; well-balanced tone. 

New tailpiece and Dominant strings included.
