Mayan huipil, embroidered , Guatemalan style.

This beautiful blouse is hand woven & hand-embroidered by artisans with lifetime experience in doing this kind of elaborate and delicate pieces. It is pure handmade embroidered top.

The initial fabric is woven on a weaving loom, a device that holds the warp threads in place while weft filling threads are woven through them. Once this process has been completed the fabric is meticulously embroiderer by hand creating this beautiful and unique piece.

-Length 26.5" ( From shoulder to hem)

Product care instruction :

* I recommend dry clean only or if you wish to wash it at home, I suggest the following:

- Handwash separately in cold water. Using hot water can cause bleeding and/or fading of color

- Use gentle laundry detergent

- Do not leave items in water for long period

- Do not twist or squeeze

- Turn clothes inside out and dry inside / no direct sunlight

- Warm iron

- Material homemade, dyed.
