This is the same tube as the standard EHX 6922 with a few big differences. The pins are plated with gold to prevent corrosion and to protect the pins. The pins will last for life. EHX also selects the best tubes (well balanced, best test data etc) for their gold line. The 6922 is famous for its high gain and high General Mutual Transconductance. They're one of the sweetest and most dynamic tubes on the market. The 6922 is the long life, low noise version of the more common 6DJ8. Other designations for the tube include ECC88, E88CC, 6DJ8. They are all substitutable with each other. The EHX reissue is one of the best on the market and with vintage 6922's in the hundreds of dollars price range they're an absolute bargain, especially considering how lush and warm they sound.

Double-tested for Gm, Gain, Shorts, Leaks, Gas at real world voltages on a Maxi-Matcher tube tester. Guaranteed to test at or above new / nos values.

Guarantee & Returns

We guarantee our tubes for 90 days upon receipt. If anything goes wrong in that time, we will replace tube once returned to us. We also pay the return shipping or will send you a prepaid shipping label so you will not be out anything. We accept returns if a tube arrives faulty or becomes faulty within the warranty period. Noise and/or microphonic issues are covered. We reserve the right to deny returns for buyer's remorse including the buyer's opinion on "tone".
