These poems and drawings come from a large album compiled by Elizabeth Ambrose, daughter of William Ambrose of Hagloe House, Blakeney, Gloucestershire between 1825 and 1842. Hagloe House is still a private residence and there is one fine drawing of it in the collection.
The contents are of very high quality and include numerous prints, engravings, waterclours and drawings. We are offering the items individually in series. This series is of poems and drawings They are all in very fine condition and are unmounted and consist of complete pages fom the album
This pencil item is of Valle Crucis Abbey, with a poem bewailing its demise. The artist is unknown
