The AdVance Phase II large bore Bb trumpet is somewhat of a reinvention and revival of the large bore design popular among the lead players through out the 1960/70's.  It has become a very popular lead horn in California, including several power player at Disneyland and the lead trumpeter of the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (Mitch Cooper).  

We were able to formulate a unique hybrid gold brass and strategically implement it through out the horn to make this one of the most powerful trumpet currently in existence.  It produces a much denser and deeper sound than the large bore horns by our competitor.  Also, unlike other trumpets in 0.469/470" class, we implemented a choke point in our design to make the horn feel more like a Medium Large Plus bore.

As a bonus, every AdVance model trumpets comes with a free Andalucia SV lead mouthpiece and a fabric cover compact hard case.
