Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!  Incredibly long yardage (almost 6 yards) of 19th Century Brussels needle lace (point de gaze) and handmade bobbin lace (duchesse) applied to French tulle net, as opposed to it's own ground.  

Lovely design with light delicate sprigs along the top, cascading to floral sprays and developing more density to fully decorated trellised ground at the bottom.  Stunning.  

This lace would be stunning for any bride.  Came from a 19th Century French lace shop.  An incredible amount of handwork in this flounce.
