This guitar is absolutely killer. It's a Paul Reed Smith KL 380. One of the best p90 guitars i have ever heard in my life.

This one really overachieves and i wll tell you why. Generally i view p90s as something i like but if forced to choose i would pick a humbucker guitar over it or a true single S style guitar over it as well. So with that in mind, this guitar absolutely sounds more powerful and has more sustain than most of my other PRS USA humbucker guitars. It has tremendous natural resonance and sustain of the which i rarely find. Especially in the bridge position which i play the most. It's unbelievable how big and powerful this guitar sound

Additionally i will touch on the Korina tone in general. First of all Korina is commonly described on forums and such as sounding like " Mahogany with more mids". That's a bit of a simplification. I find that it sounds like a combination of the qualities of Mahogany and Alder combined. Where Alder has a lot of detail and complexity in the mids, the mids are blended and when you play with gain you really here a clustered, blended gain that sounds very three dimensional. Mahogany is warm but a little more two tone and straight forward with a stronger bass response, it has a little more of a meaty sound that Alder. The Korina has a better bass response and more sustain than Alder. But it's "more mids" is more on the detail and complexity of the mids rather than being slanted in it's EQ to have more mids. So it's not a mid range heavy spiked guitar. It just has very energetic mids that have that mojo and alive full of energy sound to them. Korina is a great tone wood. And i have heard it in many guitars that confirm this.

Conditionally it is in great shape with just a smidge of playwear. See pics for condition. Likewise the frets are in great shape with just a tiny bit of wear. The setup plays fantastic, this is a small part of the magic of the sustain i think because the strings ring perfectly, i love the tension of them, it's just right and the p90s are setup to be fairly close to the strings, but not so much that they sound bad or get in the way of playing but they are fairly close to the strings so the output is maximized.

I feel this guitar is somewhat underrated in the PRS world. It does not have a figured maple top, but i feel it still has a more rustic beauty to the wood. A natural finished Korina body is beautiful to behold in person.
