Finally, a rim for the KX85 that is the correct size for road racing tires!  K and J Racing Solutions is now offering pitbike rims and spokes that are model specific.  The custom spokes are made by Buchanan's Spoke & Rim, Inc.

This rim is a 12 x 2.50," which is the correct size for use with a 120/80/12 tire;  the same size chosen by Honda and Yamaha for their mini road race bikes.  Smaller rims cause the tire to be "pinched" causing sidewall fall off.   Unlike universal rims available in this size, this rim was specifically designed for the KX85 with spokes designed for this model.

This listing is for the RIM and SPOKE/NIPPLE kit.  HUB not included.   You will need to spoke this rim yourself, or you can send it to us for spoking.  The spoking fee is $75 and we have another listing for the spoked wheel.   If we spoke your rim and you buy a Sava tire, we will mount and balance your tire for FREE! SPOKING AND TRUING IS NOT AN EASY TASK AND SHOULD NOT BE ATTEMPTED IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.  YOU CAN RUIN YOUR RIM ND SPOKES.
