This series , along with the 2003 Select AFL XL Ultra Series, is the most limited release by Select. Many collectors today may not aware of this series existed.

On average: 1 Top Prospect Signature Card Per Box. Includes: Graham Johncock, Jamie Charman, Jarrad Waite, Adam McPhee, Paul Medhurst, Matt Maguire, Sam Mitchell, Aaron Davey, Drew Petrie, Mark Coghlan etc.

Only 4500 boxes of 2004 AFL Ovation released by Select. 24 packs per box, 11 cards per pack. This series included Indigenous players subset, Best & Fairest, AFL/VFL Premiership Commemorative card set, and Most importantly-- AFL Captain Signature Redemptions Series 2.

Base Set: 162 cards. One Of the most limited release base set.

1. AFL Indigenous Players 2004 (44): 1: pack
The first time focus on the indigenous players set. Included all the 44 players in season 2004. Very collectable set.

2. AFL Heritage Jersey Card (16): 1: 6 packs
Specially designed 16 card set honours the Colours and Guernseys worn by 16 clubs at a significant stage in their history. One for each club.

3. 2003 Rising Stars Nominees (22): 1: 6 packs
Features 22 round Rising stars nomines from season 2003.

4. 2003 Club Best & Fairest (17): 1: 12 packs
This is the most limited release of Best & Fairest subset-- only 550 sets released in the total run.

5. AFL/ VFL Premiership Commemorative Cards (9): 1: 30 packs
400 numbered cards each released.

6. Top Prospect Signature Cards (12): 1: 20 Packs
A selection of 12 prominent youngsters have signed 500 numbered cards each. Includes: Graham Johncock, Jamie Charman, Jarrad Waite, Adam McPhee, Paul Medhurst, Matt Maguire, Sam Mitchell, Aaron Davey, Drew Petrie, Mark Coghlan etc.

7. Game Breaker Signature Redemption (1): 100 numbered cards only.

Following the extremely popular 2001 AFL Captain Signature Series. There are 3 single captain signatures ( Peter Bell, Steve King, Stuart Maxfield) and 3 Duo Signatures ( Brett Ratten/Koutoufides; Anthony Stevens/ Adam Simpson; Aaron Hamill / Lenny Haynes). These Captain signature cards are ultra rare as only 60 numbered cards each released.
