Please read this description carefully and examine the photos. I normally would not list china with this many defects but it appears that this is a very rare item from about 100 years ago and at the very least still has life as a display if nothing else. From what I can tell these were manufactured early in the 1900s in Italy. Some of the pieces are quite nice so please read on:
Pedestal Dish:This is probably one of the nicer pieces in this grouping. There are a couple of blue smears under the glaze and the texture of the porcelain under the glaze appears grainy. These are not defects but rather characteristics of porcelain items from this area of manufacture and the time period. Diameter at the top is 8 7/8", base is 4 3/8" and height 5". There are a few minor utensil marks but no chips, cracks or crazing.
Gravy Boat w/Ladle: This also is a very nice piece in this collection. You will see spatters of blue under the glaze and a somewhat grainy texture in the porcelain but there are no cracks or chips. There is a very fine crazing in the glaze that is hard to see and there are some dark spots inside. You also will find a few small flea bites in the rim of the underplate. And how about that ladle! So often missing or repaired, this one is intact, present, and wonderful. That alone could be reason enough to make this purchase!
7 3/8" Plate: Cracks, chips, discoloration, crazing all are randomly distributed though these plates. I have included one photo of each plate for your examination. Because of these issues as well as the fact that they are the lightest item which will cause an overcalculation in shipping, I am asking a very low price for these plates. I still think they are worthy of listing, especially for their usefulness as display pieces but the way shipping is calculated on listings with variations such as this one, the excess in shipping paid will be compensated by the low price.
9 3/4" Oval Dish:I have listed a quantity of ONE. If you look at the photos carefully you will see TWO separate dishes. The second one has crazing, a crack, and has darkened overall and it will be a free gift with the purchase of the first dish which is in near-mint condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing and has bright color.
12 3/8" Platter: One chip at the point of one end. Otherwise just wonderful with the blue spatters and grainy texture under the glaze evident as spoken about above.
14 3/4" Platter: No chips, cracks, or crazing but does have some deep utensil marks that have resulted in penetration through the glaze with darkening of the marks themselves and in some cases, the immediate surrounding area. Seems to me to be a still-useful piece for display and table service alike.
Heavier items will have a higher than market value price because in this type of listing, the same average shipping weight applies to all pieces and heavy items will be undercalculated.
Buyer should examine photos carefully for condition and description details.

If you need more photos, I'm happy to provide them. Payment is requested within 2 days of winning the item. An unpaid items case will be opened on Day#3 unless buyer contacts me to make other arrangements. Shipping charges may include insurance costs at the seller's discretion. International Buyers – Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. Thanks!

Please take note of these two very important and often misunderstood points:
1. I do not adjust shipping charges if a 'make offer is submitted and accepted.
2. I do not refund shipping overages when a buyer purchases multiple items and pays for them without giving me the opportunity to adjust the shipping BEFORE payment is made.
In both instances, the reason is the same: Shipping charges are disclosed at every step of the process and accepted offers and payments made are both based on the buyer's and the seller's understanding and acceptance of those charges
