This is an all round rig which is an ideal choice to use when a wide number of species can be caught and no particular species is being targeted. The use of two hooks allows two different baits to be used which therefore increases the chances of attracting a fish. In the diagram above size 2/0 Tsunami Black Nickle Aberdeen's hooks are used as they are a size which can still hook sub-1lb fish such as whiting, coal-fish, pouting or three bearded rock-ling but can also handle bigger fish such as cod and bass. Target SPECIES cod, bass, whiting, flatfish, Coal-fish,Pollock , Pouting and Rock-ling.

Description : The rig is composed of a lead link which goes up to a crimp, bead, a small swivel then another bead and a crimp. We leave some play between the two beads to allow the swivel to move freely. We also remember to make sure the snood lengths are not longer than the distance between the two swivels as this may make them tangle. Moving up the line there is exactly the same set up again of crimp, bead, swivel, bead and then crimp; again making sure to allow some movement for the swivel, then a swivel at the top of the rig.
