This is new old stock of an original Canon replacement part.  Complete drum assembly for the DM-XL1A camcorder new in the sealed plastic box.  The white piece of tape is simply a handwritten label with the part number since there was nothing printed on the outside of the box.  Bought directly from Canon USA and never opened/never used.
