THE SWEENEY - Mug #1

The Sweeney was a 1970s British television police drama focusing on members of the Flying Squad,
a branch of the Metropolitan Police specialising in tackling armed robbery and violent crime in London.
The programme's title derives from Sweeney Todd, which is Cockney rhyming slang for "Flying Squad".

The programme was shot on 16mm film by Thames Television's film division, Euston Films.
It was originally broadcast on ITV between 2 January 1975 and 28 December 1978, with
repeated screenings continuing to the present day.

It starred John Thaw as Detective Inspector Jack Regan and Dennis Waterman as his
partner, Detective Sergeant George Carter. Such was its popularity in the UK that it
spawned two feature film spin-offs, Sweeney! and Sweeney 2.

POSTAGE & PACKAGING

The amount being charged for Postage & Packaging is displayed in the listing!
If you think the amount being charged for P&P is unreasonable DO NOT bid or purchase!

Any offers of FREE postage apply to the United Kingdom only!

DELIVERY

Please note that your purchased item(s) will only be sent to the address
provided by the eBay/PayPal system after cleared payment is received!

Items purchased Monday to Thursday are usually posted the next day.
Items purchased Friday to Sunday will usually be posted the following Monday.

ALL items within the UK are sent by Royal Mail!
A Royal Mail tracking number is provided to the buyer when postage is purchased through eBay.

If you are not available to accept delivery Royal Mail will leave a card with
instructions on how to rearrange delivery or collect your item from a Royal Mail depot.
