HERE IS WHAT SHOW HOST 'LITTLE STEVEN' VAN ZANDT SAYS HIMSELF ABOUT THIS SERIES:

What do Buddy Holly, The Strokes, The Shangri-Las, The Beatles, and The Ramones have in common? Little Steven’s Underground Garage!

In April of 1954 “Rock Around The Clock” was recorded by Bill Haley and the Comets, and three months later, Elvis Presley recorded “That’s All Right Mama”. From these small steps, and the help of other pioneers such as Chuck Berry, Little Richard, and Bo Diddley, one of the most important and influential cultural forces over the past half-century was created, Rock and Roll.

Fast forward to 2011 and Little Steven’s Underground Garage, the nationally syndicated Rock radio show hosted and produced by one of America’s foremost musicians and actors, Little Steven Van Zandt. Each week Little Steven takes audiences on a two hour trip down the path of what was cool in all six decades of Rock and Roll, a celebration of Pop culture, and features the best emerging new bands worldwide.

The Underground Garage has received rave reviews from leading music magazines and television shows. Rolling Stone Magazine called the radio show “mind-blowingly great,” adding that, “Quite simply, Underground Garage is the most exciting thing to happen on rock and roll radio in years.” And MTV named Little Steven "the coolest DJ in the country, a proud throwback to the late-night hipster jocks of long-gone 1960's and '70s FM Radio."

Over 490 episodes have aired and included such special guests as Jack Black, Brian Wilson, Ray Davies, Iggy Pop, Ringo Starr, Keith Richards as well as being endorsed by David Bowie, Pete Townshend, Jack White, Russell Crowe, Lou Reed, Sean Penn, Michael Strahan, Steven Tyler, Ozzy Osbourne, Yogi Berra, Robert Plant, and many others.

Little Steven’s Underground Garage debuted April 7, 2002 on 23 stations. It now has over 1.2 million listeners in the US alone and is broadcast on 148 stations in over 200 markets. Including internationally in Canada, Italy, Norway, Spain, Ireland, The Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark, as well as the American Forces Network and more making it the most successful Rock music radio program in the past 30 years.
~Little Steven~

The shows are  distributed by THE RENEGADE NATION RADIO NETWORK.

The show is on TWO CD's, two hours,  in mint, like new condition.

Each show had different guest artists with great and rare features  such as soundbites from movies and the entertainment world.

In addition, Steven plays alternative versions as well as original versions.  Guest artists are throughout the show along with rare promos from the classic rock artists themselves.

And the music is amazing especially in the way Little Steven arranges the sets along with his commentary on all the songs and why he chose them.

On each show is an amazing potpourri of the best music of all time arranged in entertaining and eclectic sets as only Steven Van Zandt with his vast knowledge and history of rock  could do along with all the sound snips included between the great music.  Little Steven described it as follows:

There are no cue sheets for this show.  The station from which I got all these rare shows had an automated system so did not have a board op who would have needed to know when the breaks occurred for commercials.

But, you can go to Little Steven's website and copy the show contents for yourself as I did.

Please remember this, like all my shows, is a genuine original show that was sent to the radio station for airing.  It is NOT an unauthorized copy but the Real McCoy!!!   I personally guarantee that every radio show that I sell is the original show sent to stations.

Each show comes from my personal collection of OVER ten thousand radio shows of every genre.   Stations could use the show anytime during that weekend but since the program could never be aired again, most just threw them away. Most radio stations have serious space limitations and storing every show becomes a burden.  Believe me, I know; I work at one!

You are truly buying a  show that will only increase in value and I am selling them at a price very close to what I paid for it.

I am excited to be able to offer them to you as part of Keith's Kollectables collection of over 10,000 radio shows from every genre.

The show goes from one track to another of great rock and roll commentary from Little Steven, and guests.

Remember that this and all the radio music shows that you see on eBay  are not just about the music - the music can be found anywhere.  It is the mixture of great music in themes and great announcing that makes it so entertaining.

As well, it is a piece of radio and music  history.

Think of what they will be worth in a few years!  (IF you wanted to sell.)  I am selling to share with other music lovers what I was able to get at a reasonable price.

It is a great show and would be a valuable addition to your collection.

As always, for U.S. and International buyers, I charge only shipping on the first show you buy so the more you buy the more money you will save.

Good Luck and God Bless You.
