This antique inkwell has a 3 1/4- by 3 1/4-inch base and is 2 1/4-inches high; and the glass portion is 2-inches by 2-inches by 1 3/4-inches high. The glass portion has beveled edges. The brass portion has an angled base and a swirling design on two sides, and a building on the other two sides. The brass lid sits smoothly on the top of the glass. There are no chips, cracks, dents or repairs on either portion (see all photographs).
