PAPAL BULL FROM POPE URBAN VIII WITH METAL SEAL LEAD ATTACHED (BULLA) - 1623
The front side of the document is written in Latin with the fancy and illegible Vatican Script with the signatures of the Vatican Roman Curia under the folded vellum.
The metal papal seal of Pope Urban VIII is attached to the document. It is 1.4” (3,8cm) in diameter. A neutral colored rope is looped thru’ slits in the vellum.
The front side of the seal shows the Pope’s name in Latin: Urbanus Papa VIII.
The reverse side of the seal depicts the heads of the founders of the Church of Rome the Apostles Peter and Paul.
