Fred "Tex" Avery is highly regarded as one of the greatest cartoonists of all time. His films continue to entertain fans around the world and are still just as fresh and funny as when they were made. He invented the wacky, zany, cartoony style that reminds us, "In a cartoon, you can do anything!" He began directing cartoons full-time at the Leon Schlesinger Studio, helping to create characters like Porky, Daffy, Bugs, and Elmer.
This DVD collects some of the early films he directed during his tenure at the Schlesinger Studio:
