Our 550 Type III Paracord is a commercial grade version of Mil-Spec parachute cord: a 100% nylon kernmantle rope made of seven inner, double-twisted strands and a 32-strand woven outer sheath with minimum break strength of 550 lbs. This 550 cord also features light reflective threads woven into the outer sheath, which makes it ideal for use at night and other low-light conditions. It is a perfect edition to any emergency survival kit.
