1988 Retired Ravensburger Flying Carpet Board Game Very Rare


Excellent pre-owned condition, all game parts appear to be unplayed, only the box shows minor edge wear.

A card-playing race game, where you have to avoid obstacles (placed by the players collectively at the start), maneuvering your carpet between the clouds and utilizing the wind to be first to the destination. A special die adds a significant luck element over and above the card draw, yet there is definite room for strategy.  Your flying carpet carries you up, high above the treetops and towers of a fabled land.  Your goal is far away and others will try to prevent you from reaching it.  But if you are wise in the ways of the wind, you will be the first to reach it safely.
