This adapter and cable combo converts the old style F Cable (from your ATARI) to a newer coaxial connection (of your newer tv set)! So you can bypass using switch box! This will screw into any new tv!

That's right, one side of the cable plugs into the ATARI 7800 Video Out and the other side screws into your newer tv set! (cable connection)
