This adapter + cable combo deal replaces the old style F Cable (37 Years about time?) (from your SINCLAIR 1000 UNIT) to a newer coaxial connection (of your newer tv set)! So you can bypass using switch box! This will screw into any new tv!

That's right, one side plugs into the TIMEX video out and the other side screws into your newer tv set! (cable connection)
