| This beautiful 1 Oz Silver coin is part of the “Golden Enigma” series and is dedicated to those born under the Chinese lunar year of the Dog, known to be helpful, precise and loyal persons. The coin is completely plated in Black Ruthenium, is partially plated in Gold. The reverse of the coin presents the lovely gilded image of a running dog, over a Black Ruthenium background. On top of the reverse, the inscriptions: “YEAR OF THE DOG” – the name of the coin, “2018” – the year of issue, “1 OZ FINE SILVER 999” – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Silver. On the right, the inscription: “狗” – Dog in Chinese character. The obverse of the coin features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: “ELIZABETH II” – the name of the Queen, “D·G·REG·F·D” – Dei Gratia Regina Fidei Defensor and “2 DOLLARS” – the face value.This coin is no longer legal tender because it is an adapted/altered version of an original “legal tender”, enhanced by a private Mint, which is not related in any way to The Royal Mint. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
