(2 doubled-up mica insulators on the top insulator on the bottom) but we will call these "ruggedized" construction classification of all USAF 5687 tubes capable of being held in 3 different positions in a Navy type (flyweight) Shock Machine and are subject to 600 g impact acceleration & 2.5 g vibrational acceleration at 25 cycles for 32 hours in Tung-Sol Military Spec Factory testing and burn-in.

Tung-Sol Co was located in Newark, NJ, Tung-Sol Lamp Works Inc made vacuum tubes, small radio tubes, and most all size radio tubes. Also supplying the Weston Electrical Instrument Corp who made electrical equipment, Radio testing equipment and apparatus, aircraft instruments, electrical measuring instruments, with Tung-Sol made tubes.
