Originating from the 1940's, this bowl/ pot was manufactured by McCoy Pottery. Done in a pine cone motif, this tri-footed piece displays embossed or raised pine cones surrounded by wisps of pine needles. The field of this pot is cream utilizing brown and green to highlight its namesake. It stands 6 1/2" across the top and 3 3/4" tall. There are three slight impressions on the interior bottom left by the stilt on which the piece sat while being fired along with some random glaze pops around the exterior of the piece. These are common with McCoy pieces and do not adversely affect its display. No chips, cracks or crazing is noted. This is a beautiful example of McCoy pottery and is in very good condition. It would make for a solid example in your art pottery collection as well as a new opportunity for  your serving pleasure .Thanks for looking!
